Purpose and Setup of the Test
The test showcased IDT’s high-speed XStream Stick (1300 fps at HD) and XStream Mini (1000 fps at 4K) cameras during a professional baseball practice at Dodger Stadium. To capture unique perspectives, we positioned the cameras approximately 2 meters from the batter, periodically moving them in a close circle around the action.
Technical Details
IDT’s XStream Stick and XStream Mini cameras, leveraging Thunderbolt 3 for fast data transfer, were tested for integration into live broadcasts. The goal was to demonstrate their capability to capture 1000fps footage and provide simultaneous 30fps playback for immediate broadcast use.
